HACS

Healthcare Access & Community Sanitation (HACS)

Through Valentine Medical Centre, we provide testing for malaria, typhoid, TB, and brucella, maternal care, minor surgery, and treatment for mild to moderate conditions for vulnerable children and adults.

We also support families and children living with HIV/AIDS through adherence counselling and referrals back into treatment, while outreach teams bring check-ups, immunisation, family planning, nutritional support, and other essential services closer to underserved households.

With Village Health Teams, we deliver WASH, hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention education to strengthen household-level health outcomes.

EduSave

Education Sponsorship & Mentorship

EduSave identifies children living with HIV who are out of school, have dropped out, or are at risk of dropping out, then supports their return through school fees and scholastic materials.

In partnership with EduSenga and local schools, we provide psychosocial support and mentorship on hygiene, life goals, leadership, mental health, and girl-child empowerment.

We also run menstrual hygiene, reusable pad-making, and reproductive health awareness sessions while nurturing student-led “Each One, Support One” champion groups.

Aisha's Story: A Journey of Empowerment

Aisha, a young mother, joined our SESLD program with a desire to create a better future for her child. Through vocational training in tailoring and business management, she honed her skills and gained the confidence to launch her own small business.

Today, Aisha runs a successful tailoring shop, providing for her family and employing two other young women from her community. Her story is a testament to the power of economic empowerment and the ripple effect it creates.

"I am not just a seamstress; I am a business owner and a role model. HopeRise helped me see my own potential."
